04 / A little history

The music came first.
It still does.

I: started writing songs and recording in 1994 on a Tascam 424 MKII four-track; studied Music Industry at SUNY Oneonta; worked as a studio hand at NYC’s Back Pocket Studios, alongside industry veteran session musicians, engineers, and producers; hosted the music-focused WoaS Podcast, and later wrote music content for Produce Like a Pro.

Today I bring those years of writing, recording, and talking about music into my own releases and the work I do at Zippgun.
